Dr Jasmine Chia Siew Min

Dr Jasmine Chia Siew Min is a lecturer at the School of Pharmacy, Monash University Malaysia, with research interests in neuropathic pain, natural product therapeutics, and metabolic disorders including obesity. She has also contributed to large-scale nutrition and public health work, notably serving as the project manager for the South East Asian Nutrition Surveys II (SEANUTS II) Malaysia, which assessed the nutritional status and lifestyle behaviours of Malaysian children. Beyond academia, Dr Jasmine actively engages in advancing nutrition and health awareness through collaborations with local and regional partners. Since 2021, she has served as a council member of the Malaysian Association for the Study of Obesity (MASO), where she is involved in scientific conferences, public health initiatives, and community outreach activities aimed at obesity prevention.
